Nokia Lumia 525 specs and image leaked

Nokia-Lumia-525
WASHINGTON: Nokia’s budget phone Nokia 525 is just on an edge to release as report leaked the press images and the full specs of the device.
Believe it or not, Nokia’s most popular Windows Phone and a major reason for Microsoft’s increased smartphone market share can be attributed to a single handset, the entry-level Lumia 520/521. We have witness the T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 521 back in May and came away very impressed by the contract-free smartphone. The handset has been a hit with customers around the world and Nokia is about to give it an update.
Images of the Nokia Lumia 525 along with its full specs have leaked online. The Lumia 525 will replace the Lumia 520 as the company’s budget and contract-free smartphone. The handset has received a notable spec boost and some nice improvements over its predecessor.
According to the latest leak, the Nokia Lumia 525 will feature a 4-inch 800 x 480 IPS (in plane switching) LCD display that is made out of 2D hardened glass, which should provide a super-sensitive touch screen. It will be powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB of RAM. The handset will ship with 8GB of internal storage, a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 64GB microSD cards to further increase its storage, and 7GB of free SkyDrive storage.
It will pack in a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and will support recording HD 720P at 30FPS. Its wireless connectivity options will include 3G HSPA+ radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, and NFC. The Lumia 525 will use a removable 1,430 mAh battery, measure 119.9 x 64 x 9.9mm and weigh 124g. It is expected to be available in at least three colors – white, orange, and yellow.
There’s no word on when the Nokia Lumia 525 will make its official debut, but considering that Nokia launched the Lumia 520 at Mobile World Congress in February (MWC) 2013, it seems likely the company will use MWC 2014 to once again introduce the world to its latest WP8 budget smartphone.
We’ll make sure to keep you up to date as soon as we hear more details about the Lumia 525.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos official; packs Android 4.0, 1GHz processor

galaxy-s-duos-2.jpg
Samsung has just announced its dual-SIM Android smartphone Galaxy S Duos. This dual-active smartphone will go on sale next month in Europe followed by other markets including India.
While the Galaxy S Duos may pass off as the Samsung Galaxy S III at a first glance, on closer inspection, there are quite a few differences. The screen is 4-inches compared to the S III's 4.8-inches, which means there's more room at the top on the S Duos. The screen on the dual-SIM sporting Galaxy S Duos is 480x800 TFT display compared to the S III's 720x1280 AMOLED display.
Other features of the phone include Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GHz processor, 1500 mAh battery, and 4GB of internal memory. It also sports a 5MP camera, microSD card slot and Wi-Fi.
According to Samsung, the phone has the unique 'dual-SIM Always on' feature, which allows consumers to receive calls on one SIM while taking a call from the other.
Galaxy S Duos comes after HTC has announced two mid-range dual-SIM smartphones Desire V andVC globally, which are a direct competitor to this Samsung phone. There is no word on the Galaxy S Duos pricing, which is going to be a big factor in its success or failure.

Lenovo P780 Photo Gallery

Lenovo P780 was launched recently and you can check out our unboxing post here. Lenovo P780 belongs to the class of MediaTek MT6589 powered 5inch phablets with HD displays. What sets it apart from the other phones with similar features is its solid metal build quality and its huge 4000mAh battery(its steep price too).
lenovo-p780-photo-gallery-6
As I have mentioned before, the phone stands out because of its solid build quality but is on the heavier side. On the front, we have the stylish earpiece above the display and three capacitive touch keys below the display. The front and back material are fused together by a silver colored metal ring that houses the 3.5mm audio jack and the power lock button on the top and the volume rocker on the right side.

On the back of the phone, you get a solid metal material at the center that can be removed. Removing the metal cover, you can see the non user removable 4000mAh battery above which we have a couple of slots of SIM cards and a microSD card slot.
The phone looks gorgeous, but feels heavy and you will know more in our complete review which we will be putting up soon. Meanwhile, you can check out the entire photo gallery right below.

Nokia Lumia 525

lumia_520_black_sc_large_first

Nokia announced that it was to sell its devices division to Microsoft just under a month ago now, and it would seem that the company is rushing to push as many phones out as it can before the deal carries through
As such, today we’re hearing about the Nokia Lumia 525, a supposed incremental update to the Lumia 520. Internet leaks outlet evleaks has posted on its Twitter account that, put simply, “Nokia Glee = Lumia 525″. The Glee was not a device that incorporated a cheesy US drama, rather a phone that we’ve heard about in previous leaks.
We’re not sure on any specifics for the 525, but it’s not hard to imagine where the improvements might come from
Right now the 520 sits comfortably as one of the most popular Windows Phones out there, so a successor was kind of a given. As for its official announcement, well, it sure would make sense to reveal all at that upcoming Nokia World event, wouldn’t it

Samsung GALAXY Note II to be introduced at August 15th event?

Samsung GALAXY Note II to be introduced at August 15th event?
When Samsung spread the word this past weekend that it would be taking the wraps off of its next Galaxy device on August 15th, right away most thought of theSamsung GALAXY Note II. The original model was a big hit as the combination phone and tablet created a whole new phablet category while other tablet/phone combinations had failed. While the Galaxy device that Samsung will unveil on August 15th is still officially unknown, a source for BGR confirms that it will be the Samsung GALAXY Note II that the Korean based manufacturer will introduce.

According to the source, the device will have a slightly larger 5.5 inch screen in a thinner and taller case. The OG version has a 5.3 inch display. There have been other rumors about the device over the last few weeks. Last month, we passed along the speculation that the Samsung GALAXY Note II would launch in October and then passed along word that the launch had been moved up to September to give the device a fighting chance to gain some traction before the launch of the next Apple iPhone. The one spec that remained constant throughout all of the speculation was a 5.5 inch AMOLED screen for the sequel.

Originally, the Samsung GALAXY Note II was expected to be announced at the Samsung Unpacked event being held on August 30th at the IFA expo in Berlin. If one believes that the date of the Samsung GALAXY Note II introduction has something to do with the launch of the 6th generation Apple iPhone, it could be that Samsung has discovered something about when Apple is launching the next Apple iPhone and has decided to move up its timetable for the phablet sequel in response
